LOS ANGELES, Calif. –  Talented British actress Lexy Hammonds has landed the leading role in the upcoming comic book-based action-drama “Carbon Grey: Memories Lost” from Pixel Ltd.

“I’m beyond excited to be a part of such an already established comic series with a loyal fan base,” said the young British actress. “It’s an action-packed series and I only hope I do justice to the challenging role of Mathilde Grey.”

Set against the backdrop of a great war, the film, based upon the comic series of the same name, follows twin sisters Mathilde and Giselle Grey, members of a noble family dedicated to protecting the Kaiser of Mitteleuropa, as they struggle to reconcile duty with their own beliefs and ambitions. But when the Kaiser is killed, a vast conspiracy is uncovered, centered on a prophecy made long ago by Gottfaust, father to the Greys and hero of Mitteleuropa, which foretells that the 13th sister – the Carbon Grey – will one day spark a revolution.

Directed by Ravi Jayant (“Sync”) and written by Adam Kalmbach from a story by Paul Gardner based upon characters created by Hoang Nguyen, “Carbon Grey: Memories Lost” features Christy St. John (“The Amityville Terror”) as Giselle Grey and Sandor Welderman (“Fortune-Telling”) as The Wolf General.

“I’ve been training very hard for this role – the plot entails a lot of demanding fight scenes and action sequences,” Hammonds said.  “I’m ready to kick some male booty!”

Since her arrival in the U.S. several years ago, Hammonds has been on the rise with a growing list of diverse roles in several major productions. Her most recent work includes her leading roles in “Set Ettiquette” from filmmaker Derek Quick (“Darkest Decision”), “Project Child: Initiations,” from producers Jesse Bryant and Matthew Savalas, as well as the television series “Corrupt Crimes” from Bellum Entertainment and many others.

Hammonds has also been recently cast Sean Patrick Cannon’s upcoming psychological thriller “Christmas Eve” which will go into pre-production in 2019.

“Carbon Grey: Memories Lost” is a Pixel LTD presentation. Producers are Grant Corvin, Ravi Jayant and Monica Rucinski, directed by Ravi Jayant, written by Adam Kalmbach, story by Paul Gardner from characters by Hoang Nguyen, and cinematography by Jerome Stolly.
