LOS ANGELES, Calif. –  Electronic/pop artist Flavia brings her soulful sounds and engaging melodies to The Hotel Café at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26.

The Hotel Café is located at 1623 1/2 N. Cahuenga, Los Angeles 90026. For tickets, visit https://www.hotelcafe.com/tickets/?s=events_view&id=6802

“Performing live is the biggest rush,” Flavia said. “I want to connect with people through music and all the better when I can do it at an amazing venue like The Hotel Café.”

A world traveler and native of Ireland, Flavia (pronounced Flah-Viah) is an accomplished singer/songwriter who is known for her hit singles “Does She Like It Rough?” and “No Gravity,” which feature her powerful vocals and unique melodies. Her upcoming debut EP “Embers”, set for release this fall, mixes dark pop and futuristic R&B, while exploring traditional soul and today’s electronica. Inspired by her vivid dreams and her love of space and the desert, Flavia takes her listeners on a magical journey guided by her lush vocals.

“I like to create a visual element to my music with poetic lyrics and vivid imagery that cut to the core and touch the listener in a visceral way,” she said.  “It’s fun music that makes you want to dance!”

Flavia began writing music at a young age in Ireland and later in Italy where she spent her formative years. Having moved often while growing up, she feels that the closest thing to home base is her music. “It's a part of me. I couldn't escape it even if I wanted to.”

Flavia has toured and performed live on television and radio across the U.S. and Europe, building a large following and a reputation for her strong vocals and musicianship. After The Hotel Café, her next show will be on Sept. 12 at The Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles.
