LOS ANGELES –
Three-Time Grammy Award-nominated DJ/music producer Paul Oakenfold will
be presented the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award at the 2017 Entrepreneur Awards
on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Allure Event Center, 6939 Van Nuys Blvd. Van Nuys, CA
91405.
The event will bring together celebrities, top visionaries
and more than 300 entrepreneurs from Los Angeles and around the world to
celebrate the spirit, vision and heart of entrepreneurism as well as the
positive impact it brings to families and communities everywhere.
“I am very grateful and pleased to be honored at the 2017
Entrepreneur Awards,” Oakenfold said. “Being an artist and entrepreneur, I have
a deep affinity to the work and struggle that it takes to create a unique brand
and share your vision with others.”
The event will also present Kenn Phillips, President and CEO
The Valley Economic Alliance, with the Lifetime Leadership Award as well as
honor Richard Elden, CEO of dbest products, who recently appeared on ABC’s
“Shark Tank” and earned $350,000 investment from show panelist and billionaire
investor Mark Cuban. Elden will receive the event’s Visionary Award.

the spirit of entrepreneurship.”
The World Networks was established in 2012 as a networking
organization aimed at bringing together entrepreneurs, visionaries and business
people to create a central place for them to share their talents, connections
and business opportunities.

a dynamic community of entrepreneurs that will ultimately help improve our
communities and our quality of life,” Karibian said.
Oakenfold is one of the true superstars of dance music and
remains one of the leading forces in the world music scene today as a
three-time Grammy nominated artist who has gone from opening London’s Ministry
of Sound label in the early 1990s to selling more than five million records.
Among the artists he has worked with are Madonna, U2, Nelly Furtado, Ice Cube
and others. In April, Oakenfold and his friends will make the journey through
Nepal’s remote villages to Mount Everest for a ground-breaking live concert
event at an altitude of 5,350 meters, called “Soundtrek.”
Besides Oakenfold, a number of noted entrepreneurs will also
