LOS
ANGELES - CBS has replaced episodes of Monday night's "Supergirl" and
NCIS: Los Angeles" due to plot similarities with the Paris terrorist
attacks last Friday.
The
"Supergirl" episode slated for tonight was supposed to deal with a
series of bombings, but instead, the network opted to replace the
episode in favor of the episode "Livewire" where Supergirl deals with
the relationship she has with her foster mother, played by Helen Slater,
who coincidentally, played Supergirl in the 1984 film of the same name.
The
"NCIS: Los Angeles" episode also scheduled for tonight was about the
search for a girl who was involved with a terrorist group that was
recruiting girls.
ABC, however, still plans to air its new episode of the terrorism-themed first-year series "Quantico."
"Supergirl" stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Chyler Leigh, Calista Flockhart, Jeremy Jordan and David Harewood.
"NCIS: Los Angeles" stars, Chris O'Donnell, Barrett Foa, LL Cool J, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen.
