LOS ANGELES - Charlie Hunnam gets medieval as he pulls a sword from a stone and takes on evil villains in intense sword-fighting in the new trailer for Warner Bros.’ “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.”

The oft-delayed Guy Ritchie film tells the tale of Arthur who when robbed of his birthright, he comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy - whether he likes it or not.

“King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” stars Hunnam as the future king, with Jude Law as Vortigern, the scheming current king, along with Katie McGrath as Elsa, Hermione Cornfeld as Syren, Eric Bana as Uther Pendragon and Annabelle Wallis as the comely Maid Maggie.

The film takes on the classic Excalibur Myth of King Arthur who sees his father murdered by Vortigern and swears to avenge him and take his rightful role as King. “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” comes to the screen on May 12 nationwide.
